Around midweek, we can sometimes start to feel like everything is dragging. Energy gets low, and along with it goes inspiration. It’s impossible to create from this place.

So, every week, I round up a few magical visuals to inspire your creativity.

Enjoy the magic!

This first video may be the most spectacular display of flowers blooming that I’ve ever seen. It took the filmmaker three years to capture this magic. I can see why.

“To be an inventor, you have to live with a sense of uncertainty, to work in this darkness…-Ray Dolby

Escape is a “cinematic poem about the world-changing power of invention.”

Next up is a short film by Cristobal Vila inspired by numbers, geometry, and nature. I’ve long been fascinated by the geometry found in nature. Finding this video = bliss!

Nature by Numbers

May the rest of your week be filled with magical moments. Look for them!

Writing for love and money
Both take courage

I write for love (of the craft)

I write for money (my writing work makes up a chunk of my income)

A couple of times a month, I send out an email with a personal story and a lesson on writing for love and writing for money, and the courage it takes to do both.

You should sign up (of course, I'm only slightly biased).

I'm a writer and storyteller currently living in London and juggling multiple creative projects. I’d like to say that it's always easy, but the truth is there are times when things get messy. Still, it's the life I've chosen, and I love it. My intention is to keep my projects spinning and stay true to my voice.
