FRIDAY FAVORITES: PODCASTS FOR WRITERS

Last week, I got stuck in a train delay nightmare. I’m not sure what caused the delays, but what should’ve been a 35-minute trip home ended up taking close to three hours. My only consolation: podcasts. I used the time to catch up on a few episodes that had been meaning to get to all month. Podcasts can make almost any commute endurable. Here are three of my favorite

Got a long trip coming up? Waiting in line? Looking for something interesting to jog to?

Here are three of my favorite podcasts on writing:

I Should Be Writing

Host: Mur Lafferty

“Winner of the Podcast Peer Award and the Parsec Award, this is a show about a writer going from wanna-be to pro. Focusing on the emotional road blocks one finds in a writing career, this show speaks to over 8000 listeners every week.”

The Creative Penn Podcast

Host: Joanna Penn

“Podcast episodes will be posted every Monday and will cover interviews, inspiration and information on writing and creativity, publishing options, book marketing and creative entrepreneurship.”

Beautiful Writers Podcast

“Listen in as author Linda Sivertsen (aka Book Mama) brings together the world’s most beloved bestselling authors and creatives for monthly chats on writing, publishing, deal-making, spirituality, activism, and the art of romancing creativity.”

I'm a writer and storyteller currently living in London and juggling multiple creative projects. I’d like to say that it's always easy, but the truth is there are times when things get messy. Still, it's the life I've chosen, and I love it. My intention is to keep my projects spinning and stay true to my voice.
